President Trump signed an executive order effectively eliminating the penalty for not having healthcare.  Several of our clients have saved a lot of money by not having to pay the penalty.

If you had an ACA-compliant health insurance and received a 1095-A, there is still a requirement to reconcile any advanced credit you received with your taxes.  If the government gave you money to help pay for health insurance, they want to make sure that you received the appropriate amount.
